Shari Richard, an Obstetrical Ultrasound Expert and Educator whose medical experience spans 30 years, will be speaking. She is the founder of Sound Wave Images through which she produced the video “Ultrasound: Eyewitness To The Earliest Days Of Life”. Her ultrasound footage has educated millions on fetal development as over 10,000 copies have been distributed worldwide and viewed on commercial ads and in numerous television shows.
Wanda Franz, Ph.D., is President of the National Right to Life Committee and professor emerita of child development at WVU. She has published numerous articles on post-abortion syndrome and adolescents and abortion, and has spoken on abortion across the U.S. and around the world. Franz also serves on the WVFL Board of Directors as the West Virginia representative to the Board of the National Right to Life Committee. Franz will be speaking on the implications of the Carhart II decision that upheld the partial-birth abortion ban.
Karen Cross, former WVFL executive director and current Political Director for the National Right to Life Committee, will be discussing the 2008 elections.
